You will find presented here some of the greatest artists that contributed to one of the most musically productive decade of our time.
Some of them are still active today (Madonna, Sting, A-HA …) but the vast majority stopped their career.

Even if not all the artists presented here are as popular as the ones mentioned above, you will often be surprised to hear some tracks that  will remind you of current popular hits. Indeed, the 80’s inspired a lot of 2000’s popular singers who used 80’s hit samples and in some case the whole original song to achieve success.
